Preservation Framing at DeGeorge Custom Frames

Conservators have found that a great deal of the damage to works of art that they encounter could have been reduced or prevented by proper framing methods. Through the use of matting materials which meet the standards set by the Library of Congress for the preservation of works of art and documents on paper, mounting techniques that are easily reversible and special glazing materials, we can greatly reduce the risks faced by works of art which are displayed.
